Ribbed Moss Ripple Socks

Ribbed Moss Ripple Socks

Another free knitting pattern from Worsted Knitt! I'm getting the hang of this :)

This sock pattern is perfect for self-striping and self-patterning yarn. It can be so boring knitting plain stockinette socks with these yarns, but any complex pattern will not show in the striped yarn, or it will just look bad and messy. This simple moss stitch rib doesn't disturb the colours, but makes the sock more interesting to work on and to look at.

Lacey Bubblegum Punk Mitts

Lacey Bubblegum Mitts

I was making more fingerless mittens for sale for my local animal shelter autumn market and came up with this little pattern. Hope you like it!

I'm calling them Lacey Bubblegum Punk Mitts, as the bubblegum punk style is "girly as well as black". The mittens also remind me of the punky 80's style, so there we have it. You could make these mittens in hot pink as well!

Pencil case patterns for Sudanworsted knitt

Here are all the pencil case patterns for the now-passed KAL "Pencil Cases for Sudan". Some are crochet pencil case patterns, some of them are knitting patterns.

Please note! I only designed the Moss stitch pencil case, the others are just linked here and I claim no ownership of them.

Moss stitch Pencil Case for Sudan

For the KAL/CAL "Pencil Cases for Sudan" which the Ravelry Darfur Group is moderating I finally got my pencil case pattern done as well.

It's great to be able to participate alongside with other generous and talented designers like Wendy or Kieran - see the links to their patterns on the right side navigation bar!

You can get the .pdf version of my pattern here, plus it can be seen here (press "Read more") as a blog entry (and the pattern is even attached here - you should find it!) I wish you all happy knitting and please let me know if you see any mistakes or unclarities in the pattern!

And: don't forget to submit your finished ones to the Flickr group!
