Knitting Blog Week 2011 Day 1 - A Tale of Two Yarns
Happy Knitting and Crochet Blog Week 2011!
Of course, it has to be a busy busy week at work, but I will certainly try to participate as much as I can - I don't want to miss all the fun!
Happy Knitting and Crochet Blog Week 2011!
Of course, it has to be a busy busy week at work, but I will certainly try to participate as much as I can - I don't want to miss all the fun!
This month the Designer of the Month interview is a bit late, due to my long stay in Cuba. But it's still March, isn't it!
This month I'm presenting you a designer whose work I find innovative and fun: Allyson Dykhuizen.
As you may have guessed, my two weeks of "making a dream come true" was a trip - to Cuba!
I've been hoping to travel there since I was 15, and this year a lady in my knitting group finally talked the sense in me to indeed make this dream come true - it's not that travelling to Cuba is impossible, it's just that I always taught it would be very expensive.
I wanted to let you know that I will be offline for about two weeks. I will be making an old dream true instead! I'll tell you more afterwards!
That means there will be no new content in the blog, nor will I approve any comments, nor be active on Twitter or Facebook.
Wish me luck and see you in a couple of weeks!
I always miss WIP Wednesdays, so here's my WIP Friday instead!
First my Coraline cardigan, which has actually progressed quite a lot since this photo. It just needs buttons now!
I'm making it with Novita Julia yarn, which is pretty much my staple yarn when it comes to bigger pieces of clothing - it's partly wool, partly acrylic and wears nicely.
