Got a swap present!

Worsted Knitt

It's been a while since I've taken part in a swap, I don't know why, as I really like them! Well, I've signed up for another one now, even before I got this lovely package from Jo across the channel (UK).

Look at all the lovelies; to mention just a few: pretty yarn (Artesano Alpaca and Rennie 4-ply wool) and an extravagant scarf, tasty toffe licorice and even a mini sock blocker!

Knitted bath mats rock!

Recycled bath mats

Let's say your sister gives your mum some extra-wide sheets to somehow reuse. And you happen to be around before your mum starts anything with the sheets. I don't know about you, but that sounds like bath mat making time for me! Especially as I had hoped to make one on my holiday, anyhow, and therefore had my 15 mm circular with me.

This summer's charity scarves

Stripey Scarf
Nalle Scarf
Woolen scarf & preemie blanket

I am still working on scarves for charity, using up my supply of single balls of wool (blends) and half balls left from other projects. I haven't made much progress this summer, but here are three. That's better than none, no?

The first one is made with local German sheep's wool (orange), Finnish wool (grey) and industrial made green vintage German yarn called Tiffany, which I used in a scarf I made in May, too.
