A few weeks ago me, Nick and a few friends visited the Ron Mueck exhibition in Sara Hildén art museum in Tampere. Now Ron Mueck is an artist who makes very live-looking sculptures of different sizes, and this was his first exhibition in any Nordic country, so a real must-see for a lot of people! It was really interesting, too. The sculptures come on different sizes from huge to small and are very, very true to reality.

Today I visited the gallery Clowns & Pferde in Essen, as I often do. My husband wanted to see the exhibition so I went with him - and was very pleasently surprised! I usually like Clowns & Pferde anyways, but this exhibition is something very different from what I have seen there before.

Last Friday the spaceship C74 landed after a 41-year-flight through the universe. After 1 year of travel the ship and its crew reached its destination. Coming out of hyper space and hibernation the crew finds itself still in space not knowing where and when they are. The C74 autopilot is approaching a planet. Only basic live support systems are on, as well as the coffee machine, the champagne bucket and the lights!
