Dear readers, next week it will be here - a new look and feel for worsted-knitt.net!
Until now the site has been using Joomla content management system, but it hasn't been ideal for this site.
Therefore Nick has been so kind to develop me a new structure with Drupal CMS (he's a website guru, so if you need a new website he's your man). It will be better for commenting, you'll be able to review my postings (please be kind!), there'll be a decent gallery and it will be easier to search for older postings. I'm really excited!
But - of course it will mean some changes for you, in case you have ordered my feed, or have direct bookmarks to specific postings, like the patterns. They will stop working. Also, the new site will not have all the old content at once, as it will need to be copy-pasted into the new system. The old postings will be bit by bit moved, until then they'll be available in an archive (propably under address archive.worsted-knitt.net)
So please stop by next weekend and re-order the feed, and leave a comment on how you like the new look! There might even be a contest to celebrate the change, who knows!
